A 55-year old man underwent a motor vehicle accident, where he sustained a mild traumatic brain injury. At admission the Glasgow coma scale was 15/15 with no neurological deficit. Admission cerebral computed tomography showed subdural and subarachnoid hemorrhages (Figure 1A and 1B). Cerebral computed-tomography scans performed 24h after trauma showed stability of the post-traumatic hemorrhages. Ten days following the mild traumatic brain injury, he developed a sudden-onset left sided hemiparesis.
